Prdm9 Trimethylates Histone H3 at Lysine-4
Prdm9 (Meisetz) methylates histone H3 dimethylated at lysine-4 to yield histone H3 trimethylated at lysine-4 (Hayashi et al. 2005). The reaction occurs independently of and prior to the formation of double-strand breaks.
