Expression of Snai1 during gastrulation
The Snail1 (Snai1) gene is transcribed to yield mRNA and the mRNA is translated to yield Snai1 protein. Transcription of Snai1 is activated by Eomes and Tbxt (Tosic et al. 2019) and by Fgf signaling via Fgfr1 (Ciruna and Rossant 2001).
