Sgk1 gene expression is inhibited by Mecp2
Mouse Mecp2 directly inhibits transcription of the Sgk1 gene encoding serum/glucocorticoid-regulated kinase 1. Sgk1 level is increased in Mecp2 null mice (Nuber et al. 2005).
