SOCS3 (Hortner et al. 2002) or SOCS1 binds phosphotyrosine-729 (phosphotyrosine-727 of isoform 1) of CSF3R. SOCS3 also interacts with phosphotyrosine-1007 of JAK2 (Sasaki et al. 1999). SOCS1 and especially SOCS3 inhibit the phosphorylation activity of JAK2 (van de Geijn et al. 2004).
