text	USP13 preferentially cleaves Lys-63-linked polyubiquitin chains (Zhang et al. 2011). It mediates deubiquitination of BECN1, a key regulator of autophagy, which stabilizes PIK3C3/VPS34-containing complexes. USP13 can deubiquitinate USP10, an essential regulator of TP53 stability (Liu et al. 2011).
