In yeast, phosphoadenosine phosphosulfate (PAPS) reductase (MET16) is involved in the reduction of 3'-phosphoadenylyl selenate (PAPSe) into selenite (SeO3(2-)) and adenosine3',5'-bismonophosphate (PAP) (Banszky et al. 2003).
