26S proteasome degrades ubiquitinated Rac1, Cdc42
Studies with the mouse mammary epithelial cell line HC11 showed that Cdh1 engagement triggers a dramatic surge in total Rac1 and Cdc42 protein levels and activity through inhibition of proteolytic degradation by the 26S proteasome (Arulanandam et al. 2009, Arulanandam et al. 2010).
