p-S97-Bmal1:p-T451,T461-Clock and coactivators bind the Nr1d1 (Rev-erba) gene
Phosphorylated Bmal1:Clock heterodimers bind at least two (Ripperger 2006) and possibly seven (Koike et al. 2012) E-boxes in the promoter of the Nr1d1 (Rev-erba) gene (also inferred from the rat homolog in Triqueneaux et al. 2004). The Bmal1:Clock heterodimers recruit the histone methyltransferase Kmt2a (inferred from Bmal1:Clock at the Per2 promoter in Katada and Sassone-Corsi 2010) and the histone acetyltransferase Crebbp (Koike et al. 2012).
