Notch2 stimulates transcription of Hes5
In Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells, recombinant mouse Notch2 intracellular domain (NICD2) in complex with recombinant mouse Rbpj (and probably other components of the Notch2 coactivator complex derived from CHO cells, not shown here) stimulates transcription from the mouse Hes5 promoter fused with a reporter luciferase gene (Shimizu et al. 2002).
