text In human cells, the Dengue serotype-2 (DENV-2) NGC-44 strain NS2B:NS3 (NS2B3) protease complex binds the Inhibitor of nuclear factor kappa-B kinase subunit epsilon (IKBKE, IKKepsilon), which results in the inhibition of RLR-induced IRF3 nuclear translocation. A computational model of this interaction suggests that the NS2B3 complex masks the protein kinase domain of IKKepsilon (Angleró-Rodríguez et al., 2014).
