BDNF- or NTF4-activated Ntrk2 phosphorylates Plcg1
Recombinant rat Ntrk2 (TrkB), activated by recombinant human BDNF or recombinant human NTF4 (NT-4) phosphorylates mouse Plcg1 (PLCgamma1) (Yuen and Mobley 1999). While not all Plcg1 phosphorylation sites downstream of Ntrk2 have been examined, they are assumed based on the accepted model of Plcg1 activation (Carpenter and Ji 1999).
