Akt2 Phosphorylates Myosin 5a
In response to insulin Akt2 phosphorylates Myosin 5a on serine-1650, which promotes association of Myosin 5a with actin and activates ATPase activity (and presumably motor activity) of Myosin 5a (Yoshizaki et al. 2007).
