Binding of UQCR10, UQCR11, and UQCRFS1 to the late core complex dimer is the last step of Complex III assembly (reviewed in Ndi et al., 2018; Zara et al., 2022). This assembly step is inferred from its equivalent in yeast. The process requires the presence of the BCS1L:LETM1 complex (Cruciat et al., 1999; Tamai et al., 2008; Wagener et al., 2011; Fernandez-Vizarra et al., 2007).
