PTK6 (BRK) mediated phosphorylation of nuclear localization signal (NLS) of the RNA binding protein KHDRBS1 (SAM68) results in nuclear exclusion of KHDRBS1 and interferes with the antiproliferative role of KHDRBS1 (Lukong et al. 2005).
