Polyubiquitinated RIPK1 binds to TAB2 resulting in the recruitment of the TAB2:TAK1 complex. The K63-linked ubiqitination on Lys377 of RIPK1 was shown to mediate the association of RIPK1 with the TAB2:TAK1 complex (Li H et al. 2006)
