TUFM:GTP:aminoacyl-tRNA binds 55S ribosome:mRNA:fMet-tRNA
The ternary complex containing TUFM:GTP (EF-Tu:GTP) and aminoacyl-tRNA enters the A-site of the 55S ribosome (Kumazawa et al. 1991, Schwartzbach and Spremulli 1991, Woriax et al. 1997, reviewed in Christian and Spremulli 2012).
