Streptozocin (streptozotocin) produces 7-methylguanine in dsDNA
Experiments in rats have shown that the monofunctional alkylating chemotherapeutic drug streptozocin (streptozotocin) produces N7-methylguanine adducts in double-stranded DNA (7meG-dsDNA) (Bennett and Pegg 1981).
