GluN1 (Grin1) binds Nefl
Recombinant rat GluN1 (Grin1) subunit of the NMDA receptor complex binds to recombinant rat Nefl (neurofilament light chain, also known as NF-L). The two proteins co-localize at postsynaptic densities (PSDs) in rat neurons. Different GluN1 splice variants show different affinity for Nefl (Ehlers et al. 1998).
