AdeSeHCys is hydrolysed to SeHCys by Ahcy
In rat cytosol, adenosylhomocysteinase (Ahcy) is involved in the hydrolysis of adenosylselenohomocysteine (AdeSeHCys) into adenosine and selenohomocysteine (SeHCys) (Kajander et al. 1991, Kajander and Raina 1981).
