Trim28 binds Zfp809 in Zfp809:MoMLV
In mouse embryonic stem cells, the KRAB-ZFP Zfp809 binds the primer binding site of the Moloney murine leukemia provirus and other retroelements and recruits TRIM28 (also called KAP1) (Wolf and Goff 2009). Trim28 exists as dimers that can form higher order oligomers (Sun et al. 2019).
