NTF3-bound Ntrk2 dimers trans-autophosphorylate
In response to stimulation with a recombinant human NTF3 (NT-3), a recombinant rat Ntrk2 (Trkb) trans-autophosphotylates at tyrosine residue Y816 (Y785 in mature protein) and in the region containing tyrosine residues Y701, Y705 and Y706 (residues Y670, Y674 and Y675 in mature rat Ntrk2) (Middlemas et al. 1994). Phosphorylation of rat Ntrk2 at Y515 (Y484 in mature protein) has not been examined but is assumed.
