Eya1, Pax2, and Hox11 paralog bind the Gdnf gene
Hoxa11 (or Hoxc11 or Hoxd11), Eya1, and Pax2 physically interact to form a complex (Gong et al. 2007) which binds the Gdnf gene (inferred from results with the Six2 gene in Gong et al. 2007). The components of the Hox11:Eya1:Pax2 complex synergistically activate expression of Gdnf (Gong et al. 2007).
