Ripply2 inhibits Tbx6 activity post-translationally (Takahashi et al. 2010, Zhao et al. 2015) by binding Tbx6 and recruiting the proteasome to degrade Tbx6 (Zhao et al. 2018). Tbx6 is ubiquitinated by an unknown mechanism prior to degradation (Zhao et al. 2018).
