Npas4 binds promoters of Ins genes
In a mouse pancreatic beta cell-derived cell line, MIN6, Npas4 is induced by endoplasmic reticulum stress in pancreatic beta-cells and directly binds promoter sequences of both insulin genes, Ins1 and Ins2 (Sabatini et al. 2013).
