Transcription of Atf5
The Atf5 gene is transcribed to yield mRNA. Transcription of Atf5 is activated by a heterodimer of Atf4 and a Cebp factor in response to proteasome inhibition (Teske et al. 2013), heme deficiency (Zhang et al. 2019), endoplasmic reticulum stress, and amino acid deficiency (Huggins et al. 2015).
