Npas4 binds Cdk5r1 gene promoter
In mouse neurons stimulated with differentiation medium, Npas4 binds the promoter of the Cdk5r1 gene, encoding p35, a neuron-specific activator of Cdk5 (Yun et al. 2013). It is uncertain whether Npas4 binds to the Cdk5 gene promoter as a heterodimer with Arnt, Arnt2 or Arntl, so all three complexes (Npas4:Arnt, Npas4:Arnt2 and Npas4:Arntl) are shown as candidates.
