Fbxw7 binds Runx2 and Gsk3b

In mouse cells, it was shown that Fbxw7alpha, an E3 ubiquitin ligase which is part of an SCF complex, binds to Runx2 in the presence of Gsk3b. Gsk3b-mediated phosphorylation of Runx2 is probably a pre-requisite for Fbxw7alpha binding to Runx2 (Kumar et al. 2015). The presence of other subunits of the SCF complex in the Runx2 co-immunoprecipitate has not been tested but is assumed.
