Znt3 transports zinc into synaptic vesicles
Rat Znt3 is localized to the brain and testis. Immunohistochemical staining indicates Znt3 is localized to synaptic vesicle membranes and that it participates in the transport of zinc in these vesicles (Palmiter RD et al, 1996; Wenzel HJ et al, 1997)
