The G-alpha(s) subunit in a complex with G-beta:G-gamma and the Adrenomedullin receptor complex (ADM:CALCRL:RAMP2) (Weston et al. 2016, Woolley et al. 2017) releases GDP, which is replaced by GTP due to the high GTP:GDP ratio in cells (Echeverria et al. 2000, Brito et al. 2002, Jeong and Chung 2023)
