TGFBR3 is a transmembrane glycoprotein which localises to the plasma where it participates in ligand binding and induces signaling. The mechanism by which TGBFR3 localized to the membrane is not clear but its property as transmembrane glycoprotein is well established (Lopez et al, 2001).
