Mesogenin1 (MSGN1) binds upstream of the Delta-like 3 (DLL3) coding region (inferred from mouse homologs). DLL3 encodes a ligand of NOTCH that is normally inhibitory but may show more complex regulation of NOTCH during somitogenesis (inferred from mouse embryos in Bochter et al. 2022).
