BOD1 binds to the SET1B complex associated with CXXC1 (CFP1) and WDR82 (van Nuland et al. 2013). While BOD1 binding to the SET1B complex has been reported in the nucleus (van Nuland et al. 2013, Wang et al. 2017), it can also occur in the cytosol (Wang et al. 2017). The cytosolic complex of SET1B and BOD1 has been implicated in the regulation of fatty acid metabolism (Wang et al. 2017).
