High Levels of nuclear NFE2L2 expressions are regulated by high levels of nuclear NFkB in AML cells. The presence of the κB2 site, located at +270 upstream of the transcription start site, is responsible for the increased expression of NFE2L2 seen in AML cells. (Rushworth et al, 2012)
