NOTCH signaling activates TBX6 expression in paraxial mesoderm via RBPJ, which binds a site in the promoter of the TBX6 gene (inferred from mouse and Drosophila homologs). RBPJ is inferred to bind other members of the NOTCH1 coactivator complex in order to activate transcription of TBX6.
