SUMOylation of RANGAP1 (Mahajan et al. 1997, Lee et al. 1998, Knipscheer et al. 2008) and LMNA (Zhang and Sarge 2008) affect their localization at the nuclear envelope. SUMOylation of NUP153 has unknown consequences (Chow et al. 2012).
