GATA4 and LEF1:CTNNB1 (beta-catenin) bind the promoter of the ISL1 gene in the second heart field (SHF) during cardiogenesis (inferred from mouse homologs). TBX1 also positively regulates transcription of ISL1 and based on nucleotide sequence is believed to bind the ISL1 promoter (inferred from mouse homologs).
