Most of SARS-Cov-2 nucleocapsid phosphorylations in its S/R-rrich region are shown or proposed to be catalyzed by the host cell kinases SRPK1/2, GSK3, and CSNK1A1. However, the phosphorylation sites at S23, S79, and S183 were confirmed experimentally by three proteomics papers but the responsible kinase is unknown (Bouhaddou et al, 2020; Davidson et al, 2020; Klann et al, 2020).
