The adaptor protein FRS2 binds activated ALK. Recruitment and activation of FRS2 does not depend on the juxtamembrane domain or any of the identified phosphotyrosine binding (PTB) NXXpY sites of ALK, and the binding site remains to be determined (Chikamori et al, 2007; Degoutin et al, 2007).
