SOS1-mediated nucleotide exchange on RAS downstream of activated FLT3 mutants leads to stimulation of the MAP kinase signaling cascade (Mizuki et al, 2000; Hayakawa et al, 2000; Masson et al, 2009; reviewed in Kazi and Ronnstrand, 2019).
