SETD1B (also known as SET1B) binds the WRAD complex, consisting of WDR5, RBBP5, ASH2L and DPY30, to form the SET1B complex (Lee et al. 2007; Zhang et al. 2012; van Nuland et al. 2013; Alicea-Velazquez et al. 2016). WDR5 plays an important role in the optimal stimulation of SET1B methyltransferase activity by the RBBP5:ASH2L heterodimer (Zhang et al. 2012).
