Proteins involved in RAS-RAF-ERK signaling bind the phosphorylated cytosolic domain of CSF3R (GCSFR) and are phosphorylated (Wang et al. 2008 and inferred from mouse homologs). GRB2, GAB2, and SHC1 bind phosphorylated CSF3R directly. PTPN11 (SHP2) directly binds the phosphorylated cytosolic domain of CSF3R (inferred from mouse homologs) and also appears to bind CSF3R indirectly via phosphorylated GAB2 (inferred from mouse homologs). LYN is required for phosphorylation of GAB2 9inferred from mouse homologs). The order of binding and phosphorylation is unknown.
