Apoptosis inhibitor Rv3654c (Rv3654c) protein is secreted from Mtb and binds to human polypyrimidine tract binding protein-associated splicing factor (SFPQ), which inhibits the cleavage of caspase-8 (Danelishvili et al. 2010).
