The intracellular fragment of ERBB4, ERBB4s80 (E4ICD) binds to the promoter region of the ADAP1 gene, about 3-4 kb upstream of the transcription start site. The ERBB4s80 binding site overlaps with a CEBPB binding site (Wali et al. 2014).
