JAK2 associates with IL3 receptor beta chain (IL3RB) better known as the cytokine recetpor common beta chain (Bc). This association was not found to be dependent upon, or influenced by, the presence of GM-CSF or the GM-CSF receptor alpha chain, suggesting that JAK2 and Bc may be constitutively associated (Quelle et al. 1994).
