CCNG1 (cyclin G1) simultaneously interacts with the regulatory subunit of the PP2A protein phosphatase complex, PPP2R5C (Okamoto et al. 1996), and MDM2, thus recruiting the PP2A complex to MDM2 (Okamoto et al. 2002).
