In the nucleus, NICD1 PEST domain mutants are expected to displace the NCOR co-repressor and form a complex with RBPJ and SNW1, like wild-type NICD1 (Oka et al. 1995, Kao et al. 1998, Zhou et al. 2000, Perissi et al. 2004, Perissi et al. 2008).
