TBC1D1 phosphorylated on serine-237 binds 14-3-3 proteins in assays with yeast 14-3-3 proteins BMH1 and BMH2 (Chen et al. 2008, Frosig et al. 2010). Binding with human 14-3-3 proteins is inferred.
