Inactivation of Rac1
In Drosophila, Vilse binds directly to the intracellular domains of the Robo1 receptor and promotes the hydrolysis of GTP bound to Rac1, thus converting Rac1 to the inactive, GDP-bound form (Lundstrom et al. 2004, Hu et al. 2005).
