Fmnl1 binds Rac1:GTP
Mouse Fmnl1 (formin-like protein 1) binds mouse Rac1:GTP both in vitro, using recombinant mouse proteins, and in vivo, where endogenous proteins co-immunoprecipitate. The recombinant Fmnl1 fragment that bound to Rac1 did not interact with Cdc42 or RhoA (Yayoshi-Yamamoto et al. 2000), but a recombinant full length Fmnl1 was shown to interact with Cdc42 in another study (Seth et al. 2006).
